Heroes
I know I've posted about heroes before. But today is the anniversary of 9/11. Time to focus on some real life ones.
Heroes came through that day. So many of them. Firefighters. Policemen. Everyday men and women who helped others. The passengers on Flight 93 who had the opportunity those on the other flights didn't, to fight back.
My hat is off and my heart is with the heroes of that tragic day.
With Hurricane Katrina's devastation, people are doing so many heroic things. The rescuers. Of people and animals. I really tip my hat to these people laying their own lives on the line. Also, the helpers. The people donating. The people going in to restore electricity. Each displaying a little heroism in their own way.
